01/05	CHAS Renewal a Success Keith Walton Brickwork are pleased to announce that their CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) renewal application has been assessed as compliant.

28/04	New Project Award in Lancashire We are very pleased to announce that we have secured a masonry package for Bovis Lend Lease at Sir John Thursby Community College, Burnley. This project will be our fourth school for Bovis Lend Lease and the Building Schools for the Future East Lancashire project.

17/04	New Project Award in Merseyside Keith Walton Brickwork are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a blockwork package by Wates Construction for a new build academy in Merseyside named North Liverpool Academy.

31/03	Keith Walton Brickwork Employee wins Carillion Health & Safety Award Keith Walton Brickwork employee Mark Leahy has been awarded with employee of the month for March at Abito, Salford Quays by Carillion.

04/03	New Project Awarded in Lancashire Keith Walton Brickwork have been awarded a blockwork package for a new petrol filling station on Bluebell Way, Preston for a new client Diamond Construction.

28/02	New Project Awarded in Merseyside Keith Walton Brickwork have been awarded a substantial brickwork and blockwork package for a new build education facility at Cowley College, St Helens by Willmott Dixon. This is our first ever project for Willmott Dixon and we will be looking to produce our usual high quality service (safety, workmanship, delivery) in order to gain future tendering opportunities with Willmott Dixon.

26/02	New Project Awarded in South Yorkshire We have been awarded a brickwork and blockwork package for a new Ramada Hotel at Dodworth, Barnsley by ISG, thus continuing our developing relationship with this relatively new client (12 months). We believe there are several further Ramada projects to be carried out in the near future, located in the North & Midlands and we will obviously be seeking tendering opportunities in relation to these.

20/02	HBG Construction Subcontractor of the Month Award Keith Walton Brickwork have been awarded with the January Subcontractor of the Month Award for Health and Safety at Huddersfield University.

20/02	New Project Awarded in Merseyside Keith Walton Brickwork are pleased to announce that we have secured a blockwork package with Kier on a new Hilton hotel project within the Paradise Street area redevelopment of Liverpool City Centre.

31/01	ISO 9001.2000 Quality Management System Keith Walton Brickwork Limited have commenced fine tuning their current in house systems in order to meet the criteria of ISO 9001.2000 with a view to seeking accreditation by Autumn 2008. Thereafter accreditation to ISO 18001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System will be targeted by bringing into line where and if necessary our current in-house systems.


31/01	New Project Award in Greater Manchester Keith Walton Brickwork Limited have just been awarded a contract with another of our repeat order clients Hbg Construction for the construction of a new two storey technical and teaching block at Ashton-on-Mersey 6th Form College.

31/01	New Project Award in Lancashire Keith Walton Brickwork Limited have secured yet another project with our repeat order client Miller Construction. The project is a sizeable extension to the retail premises in Preston's main shopping area Fishergate.

21/01	New Project Award in Greater Manchester Keith Walton Brickwork Limited are pleased to have been awarded our first ever project for Barr Construction, a masonry package to Middleton Arena (Civic and Leisure facilities). We look to take this opportunity to build a solid working relationship with Barr Construction.

19/12	New Project Award in Leeds Keith Walton Brickwork Limited are pleased to have been awarded a blockwork package by our repeat order client HBG for the prestigious "Rose Bowl" project which is to be a new teaching facility and car park for the university.

01/12	Miller Subcontractor of the Month Award on Bolton Market Hall Site (Health & Safety) We were scored the same number of points as QED scaffolding who Miller Construction chose for the subcontractor of the month award based on their higher level of resources during the month at Bolton Market Hall.

22/11	New Project Award in Warrington We have been awarded our third project with regional contractor Conlon Construction for a primary school in Warrington (St Elphins). Work starts immediately after the Christmas break.

20/11	New Project Award in Merseryside Area Keith Walton Brickwork are pleased to have been awarded with a sizeable masonry project for Galliford Try. The project, Halewood Heath centre, is a further Merseyside LIFT project for Galliford Try and is due to commence early December.

15/11	New Project Awards in West Yorkshire We are extremely pleased to have secured a masonry package on the new Village Hotel, Morley Leeds for ISG. This is our second such project for ISG the first being the Village Hotel at Ashton Under-Lyne. ISG have a framework arrangement with this client and it is our intention to once more perform to our high standards in order to be considered for future opportunities. We have secured a blockwork package on the Latitude Office Development, Leeds for our valued client HBG Construction.

15/11	A further Manchester Schools Framework project has been secured Keith Walton Brickwork are pleased to announce that a further Manchester Schools project has been secured with our valued repeat order client Laing O'Rourke.

07/10	Keith Walton Brickwork Limited turnover increase in line with business plan Keith Walton Brickwork first quarter turnover (May-July) is one of our busiest quarters ever, furthermore turnover in August and September has been substantially higher than the preceding three months, with West Yorkshire being particularly busy throughout this period and going forward in to 2008. Our secured workload throughout the winter months in all areas indicates that 2007-2008 will be our “busiest” ever year, achieving and probably exceeding targets set by the directors in our latest business plan.

29/08	Laing O'Rourke MaST LIFT reach Safety Milestone On the 15th August the MaST LIFT Project Team accomplished 500,000 man hours without a reportable accident. Keith Walton Brickwork are proud to have been involved with the MaST LIFT Project and would like to thank Mark Platt for acknowledging their involvement. [letter]

20/08	New Project Awards in the Leeds Area Keith Walton Brickwork have secured two large new build school projects at Lofthouse (Rodillian) and Pudsey (Grangefield) with our valued repeat order client Interserve Project Services Limited. Our packages are due to commence during mid-late September and continue into 2008. These projects are part of the first phase of the Leeds Building Schools for the Future programme (BSF). Leeds City Councils Media Release dated 17th May 2007 advises Under phase one of the BSF programme Allerton High, Allerton Grange, Pudsey Grangefield and Rodillian will be completely rebuilt, while Cockburn and Temple Moor will also be transformed through newly-built facilities along with a wholesale refurbishment. All phase one schools are set to be completed by 2008, except Allerton Grange which will be completed the following year. One more newly-built school and seven further major refurbishments will be completed by 2010.

21/06	East Lancashire Building Schools for the Future We are very pleased to announce that we have secured the masonry package on the first three of the Bovis Lend Lease, Building Schools for the Future East Lancashire project. Further tranches are due to commence 2008/2009 and we will be endeavouring to secure these also.
