Investors in People Assessment Success
Over the 01 and 02 of June 2010 a review of the business was carried out in connection with our “Investors in People” standard. We are extremely pleased to announce that we continue to meet the requirements of the standard. The assessor's feedback was excellent for which we extend our thanks to our valued employees at all levels within the company. This once more reinforces our total commitment to our very loyal workforce in terms of ongoing training, health and welfare, without whom the business could not function.

New Project Awards
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded the following projects: Levenshulme & Acacias School for Laing O'Rourke, Clatterbridge Oncology Unit for Laing O'Rourke, HMP Buckley for Willmott Dixon and Selby Community Project for BAM.

Subcontractor of the Month Award
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded with the subcontractor of the month award for May by ISG at Manchester College. Well done to Terry Moloney and the team working on the project.

Subcontractor of the Month Award
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded with the subcontractor of the month award for April by Kier at Richard Rose School, Carlisle. Well done to David Gallop and the team working on the project.

New Project Award in Greater Manchester
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded a brickwork, blockwork and scaffolding package on a new build primary school in Lower Broughton. Work at Wheatersfield Primary School for Laing O'Rourke is due to commence in the not too distant future.

Balfour Beatty Preferred Subcontractor Status
Keith Walton Brickwork Limited has this week been notified that we have achieved preferred subcontractor status with Balfour Beatty Construction Northern Limited (BBCNL). I would like to thank both BBCNL staff with whom we worked on East Manchester Academy and Castlefield School projects and all staff and operatives at Keith Walton Brickwork who have been involved in these projects for their effort and input resulting in this status.
We look forward to having a mutually beneficial working relationship with Balfour Beatty going forward.

Best Sub Contractor Award
Keith Walton Brickwork Limited has been recognised by Willmott Dixon Construction Northern Region as being their “BEST SUB CONTRACTOR” in the 2009 Supply Chain Awards.
The award is based on several categories including General Performance, Health & Safety, Pre-contract Tendering, Commercial and a commitment to Apprentices and all forms of Training.
We are all extremely proud to receive this prestigious award that will sit nicely next to last year’s “Highly Commended” Health & Safety Award.

New Project Award in Merseyside
Keith Walton Brickwork has secured a small mixed masonry package for Laing O'Rourke. Work at Clatterbridge Oncology Unit at Fazakerley Hospital will be over an extended period and is due to commence mid March.

New Project Award in West Yorkshire
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded an external minor works contract at Armley Leisure Centre by Interserve Project Services Ltd. Work has commenced.

New Project Award in Merseyside
Keith Walton Brickwork has secured a brickwork and blockwork package for Conlon Construction at Faith Primary School in Liverpool. Work commences in February.

New Project Award in Manchester
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded a blockwork package by ISG for a new build construction building. Work at The Manchester College is due to commence in March.

New Project Award in Cheshire
Keith Walton Brickwork is pleased to have secured a second supermarket project in as many months for Bowmer & Kirkland. Work to the Morrisons in Saltney consists of brickwork, blockwork and feature Welsh slate and is due to commence in March.

New Project Award in Rotherham
Keith Walton Brickwork is pleased to have secured a brickwork and blockwork package for Laing O'Rourke at Rotherham Hospital. Work to the OPMH unit is due to commence in March.

New Project Award in Lancashire
Keith Walton Brickwork has been awarded a new build primary school brickwork and blockwork package in Chorley. The work at Buckshaw Village Primary School for Conlon Construction is due to start at the beginning of March.
